Greetings Ferland Flute Studio

Welcome to Flute Lessons. I’m excited for this upcoming year and the many new adventures with your flute performance for our 2025-2026 school year. Here is some important information:

Lesson fees are as follows:

30 minutes $50
45 minutes $70
60 minutes $90

Important dates to remember

WMEA audition for all state:

Jr. All State Band and Orchestra 10/10/25
HS All State Band and Orchestra 11/14/25
- All audition recordings are done with the student’s band director.

Seattle Young Artists Application

Registration opens 12/5/25 – 1/11/26

Horsfall Flute Competition Auditions

Audition information and application will open January 5, 2026.
Auditioned recordings must be submitted by January 19, 2026 by 11:59 pm.
All students involved in this competition must be a member of the Seattle Flute Society.
Competition Finalists results will be mail notified by February 8th
All finalists competition will be on 3/7/26 (all day) see website for more information.

Annual Flute Recital

The annual flute recital will be on 5/31/26 at the Kirkland Woman’s Club, 407 1st Street, Kirkland, WA 98033. 3-5pm
Cost: $25 per student.
